New Braunfels, TX (July 28, 2016) – Driver of the No. 19 Alta Towers / Enertech Resources Ginetta G55 GT4 Parker Chase will hit the track at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course this weekend in Lexington, Ohio for Pirelli World Challenge GTS Rounds 13 and 14 with Performance Motorsports Group.
Chase returns to Pirelli World Challenge competition after a short time off, during which he competed with Chase Rallysport in the Red Bull Global Rallycross Lites championship at Marine Corps Air Station New River where he earned a career-best third place finish.
This weekend will mark Chase’s first time to Mid-Ohio, a 13-turn 2.258 mile permanent road course that is often called the most competitive road course in the United States. Chase and Performance Motorsports Group are hungry for a strong result after a few weekends of bad luck in the Pirelli World Challenge series.
“We’re in the second half of the season at this point and I am proud of what our team has accomplished so far,” said Chase. “We’ve had a little bad luck the past few weekends but the guys always keep their head up and always work their tails off to give me the best car possible. We’ll have our work cut out for us at Mid-Ohio for sure seeing as we have never been there before. I expect to be competitive and gather some points towards the championship.”
The first session of the weekend begins on Thursday, July 28 followed by qualifying and races on Friday, July 29 and Saturday, July 30. For a full schedule and live streaming information visit www.world-challenge.com. Follow Parker Chase on Facebook www.facebook.com/
