New Braunfels, TX (August 11, 2016) – Performance Motorsports Group drivers Parker Chase and Harry Gottsacker resume Pirelli World Challenge GTS class racing this weekend among the mountains at Utah Motorsports Campus in Toole, Utah.

Chase currently sits in third position in the GTS Driver Championship. Earlier this week Chase was given the opportunity to test the Ginetta G57 prototype at Utah Motorsports Campus, allowing him to learn the course. The young Ginetta Factory Recognized Driver enjoys the 24-turn, 4.5 mile circuit and feels his nimble No. 19 Alta Towers/Enertech Resources Ginetta G55 GT4 will be a podium contender.

“We’re hungry for a podium finish,” said Chase. “The Ginetta G55 should be very strong here in Utah because of the weaving nature of the track so I want to charge hard and get back up on the podium. As a new driver I often drive tracks that are foreign to me so being able to come out here and test the Ginetta G57 was such a beneficial experience for myself and the team because I already have an idea of what we will need to make the car perfect. Thanks to Performance Motorsports Group, Alta Towers, Enertech Resources and Ginetta for the opportunity to drive.”

On the heels of a strong sixth place performance at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course two weeks ago, Gottsacker feels strongly that he can make a run for the podium this weekend in the No. 29 Performance Motorsports Group Ginetta G55 GT4.

“Coming off of a great weekend makes me very optimistic about our chances here in Utah,” said Gottsacker. “My Ginetta is running strong and I am comfortable behind the wheel so it should be a good one. I hope to be making a run for the front of the pack.”
